Hydrant Flushing Continues
United Water will be contacting residents on the streets listed below by telephone about the continuation of their hydrant flushing program. To keep our residents informed, the Borough is posting the following message which has been provided to the Borough by United Water.
Statement From United Water
As part of United Water’s routine maintenance, they will be flushing hydrants on the following streets starting December 8, 2008 and completing the work by December 12, 2008:
Cinnamon Lane
Clove Lane
Delaware Lane
Franklin Lake Road
High Mountain Road
Huckleberry Lane
Orchard Lane
Peach Tree Lane
Peppercorn Lane
Stokes Farm Road
Sunset Terrace
Vee Drive
Waterview Drive
The flushing will be done at night. Customers in these and surrounding areas may experience low water pressure as well as discolored water. This situation is temporary. While the water is safe to drink, customers may prefer to wait until the water runs clear before using for drinking, cooking, washing clothes or dishes. United Water apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks you for your patience. This has been an important message from United Water.
