WOR Radio’s 5th Annual Shining Star Talent Search features two local teens, one from Ramapo and one Indian Hills, who can win fifteen hundred dollars and an additional seventy-five hundred will go to their school. The two students have risen to the top in a competition that began with performers in grades 7-thru-12 throughout NJ, NY and CT. WOR has a long tradition in supporting local communities, and pop-icon Deborah Gibson attributes her win in one contest with helping to launch her career.
Local residents can vote up until May 23rd for either Daniela DiPasquale or Brianna Meese. The voting for the top 25 ends on Tuesday, May 26th and the top six will be announced on May 28th with a new round of voting.
