To fill the recent vacancy caused by the recent resignation of Councilman William Smith, the Mayor and Council, at its meeting on Tuesday, May 15, appointed Thomas Lambrix to the Council. Mr. Lambrix and his wife, Maureen, have been Franklin Lakes residents for nearly twenty years, and have raised their three boys in the Franklin Lakes community. Now a management and communications consultant and an adjunct professor of management and communications at Ramapo College, Mr. Lambrix has a unique combination of academic experience (College Professor), a 20 year corporate career and 10 years with the federal government. He also has served since 2008 as the Chairman of the Borough’s Environmental Commission. Mr. Lambrix will serve as the chair of the Recreation and Parks Council Committee.
