The following is an email alert sent out by a Franklin Lakes resident.

We were robbed yesterday. - Monday during the night between 1am and 6:30.

People entered on the ground floor through a window that was closed but unlocked, in my backyard by the pool. There were trampled gardens next to the window. They stole laptop computers digital cameras, and a GPS from one of our cars outside.

There was another break in on Steve’s lane same hours they entered Steve’s lane home by using a garage door opener in the cars outsides and took similar items from their home plus a car.

We were all home sleeping (dog included). Thank God we were unharmed and safe.

Lock everything!
