Franklin Lakes H1N1 (Swine) Influenza Vaccination Clinic

The Franklin Lakes Board of Health will be offering H1N1 vaccines to individuals that fall within the first priority group set by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. The first priority group is as follows:

*Pregnant women
*Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than six months of age
*Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
*All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
*Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.

The H1N1 vaccine clinic will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, from 10:00 AM through 12:00 noon at the Franklin Lakes recreation building, located on Vichiconti Way. Registration is required and can be made by calling 201-291-6264. Vaccinations will be provided on a first come first serve basis.

The Franklin Lakes Board of Health ordered 3,000 H1N1 vaccines and received only 325 in the first delivery. Additional clinics will be scheduled as vaccine becomes available.
