Welcome to the office of Dr. Richard L. Bucher, where we aim to help our patients achieve the best oral health possible. Our family dental practice emphasizes comprehensive care, cosmetic dentistry, and the use of lasers in treatment.

We strongly believe in treating the patient as a whole, rather than on a symptom-by-symptom basis, and in using state-of-the-art technology to offer our patients the most comfortable and efficient care possible. Having served the dental needs of Oakland since 1991, our practice has grown deep roots in the community.

We make it a priority to get to know each of our patients on an individual basis, and many we know personally. Our patients live and work in the community, as do the members of our staff, many of whom have been with the practice for more than a decade, some two decades.

Our office space feels warm and homey, much like stepping into a neighbor’s living room. Our practice values punctual, on-time service and patient access to care.
