What’s good at the library?

ü For the month of September, the Teen Room is highlighting banned books in honor of Banned Books Week, September 27 – October 3. Stop by to find out why some of your favorites have been banned across the states in libraries and classrooms. Leave a comment on the Teen Blog to defend your favorite titles!

ü It’s that time of year again! The Children’s Department displays so many great books for “Back to School” for all ages. Plus, for some fun reading (where you might just learn something!), you don’t want to miss our out-of-this-world books about planets, stars, comets, and more!

ü More displays on the first floor offer books for college planning, including SAT and GRE preparation, materials to help with interview skills and job searching (program on Sept. 22), and books about living with diabetes (program on Sept. 15).

Family Specials:

Family Specials are programs sponsored by the Friends of Franklin Lakes Public Library. These programs are open to Franklin Lakes residents and current members of the Friends organization.
