Borough 2013 Calendar Photo Competition
One of the primary features of the Borough’s new annual calendar is to exhibit photographs which capture the essence of our Franklin Lakes community. This year’s calendar featured photographs of Franklin Lakes scenes taken by local photographers. For the 2013 calendar, we are holding a competition for the best photographs of the Franklin Lakes community, which will be exhibited in full-color in the calendar, with proper photo credit. We are looking for scenes of Franklin Lakes through the seasons. You will score more points for scenes which are identifiable as Franklin Lakes, such as pictures of landmarks, such as the Circle, the Rec fields, Borough buildings, the Nature Preserve, the Clock Park or Flag Park. Historic photos are desired and will be featured in at least one month (and likely for a full calendar in future years). Photos must be high quality and can be sent via email to webmail@franklinlakes.org or dropped off in the Borough Administrator’s office at Borough Hall on disk or flash drive. Include your name, phone number, e-mail address and location photo was taken with each high resolution jpeg submitted. A panel will be established consisting of the Borough’s webteam and one or more elected officials to choose the photos to be exhibited in the calendar. If you have questions, please email the webteam at webteam@franklinlakes.org.
Note: By submitting photographs, you are giving permission to the Borough to utilize the pictures in Borough publications and promotional materials, such as, but not limited to, the calendar, the website, the Borough’s Facebook page and cable channels. Photo credit will be given.
